Everest Base Camp Trekking Itinerary 14 Days

About the 14 Days Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary, the trip starts as soon as you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Our representative will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel where you will be staying and taking good rest. The next day, you will get on an airplane enjoying a beautiful scenic flight to Lukla followed by a good rest at one of the hotels in Lukla. The EBC Trek starts from Lukla to Phakding with a slow climb on the mountains and you reach Phakding. Day 3 starts with breakfast at Phakding and a trek towards Namche Bazar which is the tourist hub of the Himalayas. The trek goes along the Dudh Koshi’s right bank through the forest, stream, and village. You will get a totally different experience while continuing the EBC Trek journey. After a great trip, you will be resting at Namche Bazar from where you can have great food with great drinks looking at the most awesome sight of Ama Dablam, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Tawoche.

The Everest trekking journey continues from Tyangboche to Dingboche descending through the rhododendron forest where you also get to cross a suspension bridge at Imja Khola heading towards Minlinggo along with inner Imjatse Valley. The seventh day of the Everest trekking journey sees another acclimatization at Dingboche where you get to be familiar with the weather, lifestyle, and climate of the Everest Region. It’s the time to hike up to Chhukum in the late afternoon where you will explore a lot more than you would have imagined with the interaction with the local people. While you are diving deep into the climate and weather of the alpine region, the 14 Days Everest Base Camp Trek from Kathmandu intensifies the overall experience of the trek by providing you with the most exquisite view of Island Peak, Makalu, and Ama Dablam.

The EBC Trek starts giving you the opportunity to shift your trekking experience to a level tougher starting with a five and a half hour normal walk from Dingboche to Lobuche. The best thing about the 14 Days Everest Base Camp Trek is that you will always be under the backdrop of the most alluring views of Mount Tawache, Ama Dablam, Pokalde, Kongma-Tse, and Nuptse. The ninth day of the Everest Base Camp Trek sees you reaching the Everest Base Camp from Lobuche which is the heart of the trekking journey via Welcome Nepal Treks followed by a trip to Kala Patthar from Gorakshep and finally to Pheriche. Starting the day with the most aesthetic sunrise view from Kala Patthar you will get soaked in the amazing sight of the world’s highest peak. It is believed that the view of Mount Everest from Kala Patthar is one of the most adventurous natural excursions ever.

Saying that it’s now time for a trek back to Namche Bazar from Tyangboche which is a four and a half hour's walk through traditional villages like Khumjung and Khunde. This time at Namche Bazar will be a little different as you will be full of memories of Everest which you will never ever forget in life. The fun you have on the trip with some complications makes the trip a great experience. Day 12 of the EBC Trek is all about reminiscing the good times of the trek in the Everest Region starting off with a lovely breakfast at Namche Bazar from where you trek back to Lukla and take a well-needed rest. One thing is for sure, your overnight will be at teahouse lodges on every day of the Everest trekking journey.

Finally, the flight day to board from Lukla to Kathmandu arrives on the 13th day of the trek. You get back to Kathmandu via a scenic flight where you will be pumped up to share the trekking experience. After landing at the airport, our representative will take you back to the hotel where you can have a well-deserved rest after exploring the gorgeous alpine region. The 14th day of the Everest Base Camp Trek would be the departure day when we drop you off at the airport. Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu .Meet Airport Representative Of Welcome Nepal Treks and transfer to hotel on car/bus/van/ as arranged.

    Morning flight to Lukla , Breakfast at Lukla and trek to Phakding. (2,610mtrs) , moderate day walk through village, forest and riverbank.

      Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m). walk through village and forest 0600 hours. Glimpse of Thamsherku Mountain and also Mt. Everest if the weather is clear. Last 2 hrs walk will be the toughest uphill walk

        Acclimatization day at Namche Bazzar. walk up to Everest View Hotel, 2 hours, back to Namche , free evening for shopping, internet, enjoy in lodge etc. 

          Trek to Tengboche(3,860mtr) 5 hrs., walk through village , stream and forest, here the main route to Base Camp splits up with another famous route to Goyo lake trekking, lunch at Phortse Tanga alongside the river, last 2 hrs. uphill until the hotel, visit around Tengboche Monastery, watch a short slideshow in a small eco-home theater if you are interested

            Trek up to Dingboche(4,410m). walk through Pangboche village 5:30 hours, beautiful view of Amadublum, Tamsherku etc , easy day Acclimatization day at Dinboche. hike up to Chhukung 4:25 hours, eat lunch there if you want, back to Dingboche, crucial Night in terms of High Altitude Symptoms, there is a clinic at next village Pheriche if you need for to check your health condition etc.

               Today too, we acclimatize at Dingboche (4,260 m.) to be familiar with the local climate. Having breakfast at the teahouse, we go around the village and in the afternoon, we even hike up to Chhukum. It also provides majestic view of Island peak, Ama Dablam, Makalu, Tawoche peak and others. In the late afternoon, we come back to Dingboche and take rest. Overnight at tea house lodge.

                TIt is our turn to head towards Lobuche from Dingboche which is situated at a distance of five and half hours normal walk. The onward trail is gentle up to Pheriche village. Along the trail, we would be privileged to have panoramic views of the Mt.Tawache, Ama Dablam, Pokalde (5,741m), Kongma-tse (5,820m) and the great wall of Nuptse. We would have lunch at Dugla (4,595m) and trek to Lobuche.

                  Trek to Gorak Shep 5,153 mtrs, 0230 hrs walk, Lunch Break, continue walk to EBC(5,363m), 0230 hrs, there you are, back to Gorakshep(5,153m). sleep at Gorakshep, toughest day around 0730 hrs walk.

                    Early morning around 0500 am hike up to Kalapathar(5,545mtrs), 2 hrs., view sunrise over Mt. Everest back to hotel , breakfast and trek down to Pheriche. 5 hours 

                      Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m). walking 6:30 hours, O/N at guest house, longest day walk but exciting for warmer weather, bigger village, god hot shower and food

                        Trek down to Lukla(2,840m).Last day walk lunch break at Phakding, Walking 6:30 hours, Last evening at Lukla, buy a dinner for your porters, give some tips if you are happy with their service

                          Morning Flight to Kathmandu, 30 minutes , weather sometimes can postpone your flight for indefinite time. Then rest day in kathmandu.

                             Fly back to your country or next destination.
