The approach trek to the peak is through beuatiful Gokyo valley with a flight to Lukla from Kathmandu, we follow the Dudh Koshi river valley, acclimatise on day in the Sherpa town of Namche Bazzar and head for the pristine Gokyo lake. We enjoy the climb to famous Gokyo Ri which commands one of the finest views of Everest , Cho Oyu and other mountains, cross the Cho La pass, enjoy yet another grand view, and descend to Dingboche.
