Now we are back home I would like to say thank you and how much we enjoyed the whole experience and how pleased we were with the arrangements made by Welcome Nepal Treks .

Gokyo, Cho La Pass and Everest trek is a demanding previous experience and walking over the pass on snow, takes you into the heart of the mountains and the culture of the Everest region to the foot of the great peak itself. This best-of-both worlds trek combines the two routes to Gokyo and Base Camp by crossing Ngozumpa Glacier and Cho La pass. You fly to Lukla airstrip the start to trek with an easy walk to Phakding and going up crossing Dudh Koshi River couple of times a steep ascent to Namche Bazaar. Normally a day is spent here for acclimatization and just soaking up the atmosphere of this bustling village. From here the trail passes through some high Sherpa settlements with tremendous scenery, as we climb towards Gokyo we have superb views down the valley to Kongtega and up towards Cho Oyu. The views at Gokyo are spectacular with the best being obtained after a short climb above the lake.
On the way to Cho-La (5,420m). We follow the valley's eastern side to Thagna offering more spectacular views. Crossing the pass; we head up to Lobuche village and finally to your highest overnight at Gorak Shep. This is the jumping off point for the climb up to Kala Patter (5545m) for spectacular views of Mt. Everest. From here the trail descends to Tengboche-Namche and then to Lukla, from where we fly back to Kathmandu. Gokyo-Cho La pass-Everest base camp trekking trails have good Teahouse / lodges facilities management by ethnic families. A local hotel / Lodge restaurant provides to the trekkers best and delicious meals. Our company offer Teahouses (Lodges Camp) or Camping (Tents Camp) trekking but lodged camp trekking is very popular because which is cheaper compare with Camping Trekking.
